Cohen, Ruth Gulbas

Ruth G. Cohen, OTR/L is a Registered Occupational Therapist at CCSN and provides occupational therapy services to children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other neurodevelopmental disorders. Ruth received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy from Tufts University and completed an Infant Specialization Course at Georgetown University Child Development Center. She has over twenty years of experience practicing occupational therapy with both adults and children in various settings including clinics, schools, homes, and childcare establishments. Ruth has focused primarily on early intervention, working for the Birth to Three System, providing a range of services in homes and community settings for families of young children with special needs. She has been trained as a Service Coordinator, administered standardized developmental evaluations, written and implemented Individualized Family Service Plans and provided direct occupational therapy services as part of a multidisciplinary team. Ruth's areas of focus have included sensory processing, fine motor and feeding challenges. She is excited to join the team at CCSN and expand her practice with older children and adults.
